Musica non grata

The Musica non grata project focuses its attention on "unwanted music". It revives the artistic legacy of composers important to the musical life of interwar Czechoslovakia who were persecuted by National Socialism or otherwise persecuted for religious, racial, political or gender reasons.

For the project, we designed the logotype, visual style and web presentation. We will also recall two of the unaccepted proposals, based on the reconstruction of decadent fonts and inspired by the "Entartete Kunst" project, by which the Nazis excluded hundreds of works of mostly modern art from the public space.
