National Theatre Ballet Calendar 2016

The initial creative assignment of the calendar was to introduce the National Theatre dancers born in the given month / zodiac sign and confront them with the typical characteristics of their zodiac sign. And IT dawned on us... What if the artists made an effort to “dance” to their signs?

Under the guidance of choreographer Zuzana Šimáková, Pavel Hejný shot a collection of twelve black and white photographs. The models were the National Theatre Ballet dancers. The simple to bare typography enhances the beauty and elegance of the presented dance figures.
