Annual report 2019

The main event of 2019 in the life of the National Theatre was the completion of the overhaul of the State Opera House, one of the most beautiful theatre buildings in Europe. During the reconstruction, the excavator in the orchestra pit and other incredible shots were on display, which led us to conceive the Annual Report as a Construction Diary of the reconstruction.

A special reflective yellow-green colour on the cover and front pages, referring, among other things, to the colour of the safety vests used, runs through the annual report as a connecting thread. This is complemented by mostly black and white photographs from the reconstruction, in which few people would recognise the theatre. The infographics are also inspired by the building theme.
